Emma Brannen
Emma is a Pittsburgh native who started dancing at the age of three at local studios including Dance Conservatory of Pittsburgh. West Point Ballet opened their doors when Emma was in seventh grade, this is where she would spend her next six years training. Here, she performed some of her favorite roles which include: Carabosse (Sleeping Beauty), Odalisque (Le Corsaire) Sugar Plum Fairy (The Nutcracker) and Fairy God Mother (Cinderella). Along with WPB, Emma attended summer dance intensives including BalletMET, and Point Park’s International Summer Dance. Since graduating high school, Emma has also found her love for teaching and continues to grow herself as a dancer and her students at local studios in Pittsburgh. Currently, she is teaching at Dance Conservatory of Pittsburgh and working as their studio manager. She also is a ballet instructor at WPB. In her free time she loves to spend it with her family, who are her biggest supporters. Emma is excited for her first year as a Company Artist (she was a Trainee in 2021, and an Apprentice in 2022) and can’t wait to share the stage with the company!
