Camryn Peters

Camryn (she/her) holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts from SUNY Purchase's Conservatory of Dance. While at Purchase, she received the Adopt-A-Dancer scholarship and performed works by choreographers such as Jason Cianciulli, Lucinda Childs, Dorchell Haqq, and Rosalind Newman. She also had the privilege of training abroad at CODARTS in Rotterdam.

Currently, Camryn is a counselor-in-training in the Clinical Mental Health Counseling Program at the Indiana University of Pennsylvania. She is passionate about exploring dance as a vehicle for social justice and values creating inclusive environments that encourage individuals to embrace their authentic selves. She believes in the power of imagination and play as essential elements of the human experience.

In her free time, Camryn can be found lounging with her pup, giggling with her friends, or eating yummy food with her partner. She is grateful for the opportunities that lie ahead and looks forward to making a positive impact through her artistic and counseling endeavors!
